General information

Since its founding in 1931, Saint Gabriel’s has been diverse and multicultural, and its policies include non-discrimination based on cultural, ethnic, or religious origin, among others. In this regard, the application process ensures that admitted applicants benefit from the academic and social programs, existing infrastructure, human relations, and available resources.
True to its mission, Saint Gabriel’s is committed to its community, giving priority in the application process to families who are already members of the school and to the alumni’s children.

GENERAL INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS

Vacancies:

Saint Gabriel’s offers a maximum of 120 Pre-Kindergarten slots. This number includes available spots for both existing and new families.

Applications for Pre-kinder can be made online or in person at the offices located at Eliodoro Yáñez 2922. If you have any questions about admissions to Pre-kinder, please write directly to avaldivia@sangabriel.cl or admision@sangabriel.cl

Applications must include the following documents:

  • Complete Application Form (see end)
  • Birth Certificate with names of guardians
  • Two passport-sized photos with the applicant’s name and RUT
  • Personality Report issued by the “Jardín Infantil” (if applicable)
  • Age to apply: 4 years old by March 31 of the year of entry to the College (3 years old by March 31 of the year of application)
  • Opening hours: 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

 

Application from abroad:

If you are applying for Pre-kinder from outside the country, you must send an email with all scanned documentation to avaldivia@sangabriel.cl within the same deadlines as for other applicants. You will then be contacted to coordinate and complete the application process.

Application dates:

For families belonging to the school and children of alumni, applications can be made online or in person, preferably between February 26 and March 9, 2025, and can also be submitted up to the period assigned to new families.

Activities with children:

At Saint Gabriel’s, there is no diagnostic test that measures knowledge, so there’s no need to prepare. Instead, an “Open House” activity is held, in which children and their guardians participate. There are two dates for this activity, which are given directly to the families participating in the process.

Meetings with parents:

There are various activities with parents. These activities involve sharing different aspects of the school and addressing any concerns. Scheduled activities include group and/or individual meetings, visits to the stadium and school facilities, and a general discussion. The dates of these activities are coordinated directly with the families participating in the process, indicating which are mandatory and which are voluntary.

Delivery of results:

Results will be delivered no later than April 25, 2025, via email, the website, and/or in person.

ADMISSION FEES

Postulation:

1.5 UF. This fee is nonrefundable and must be paid electronically (via the link on the Alexia platform) when submitting the application documents.

Incorporation Fee:

–       75 UF first child
–       45 UF second sibling
–       40 UF third sibling and above

Tuition:

All accepted students must pay an annual tuition fee. For students applying to Pre-Kindergarten 2025, the 2025 tuition fee, which amounts to UF 12, is due. This fee is non-refundable.

Tuition:

The tuition fee is announced throughout the school year. For reference, the monthly fee for 2025 is 18.8 UF per month.

Accident insurance:

All students must have school accident insurance. The school has an agreement with Clínica Alemana, in which case it can be paid as an additional charge to the school’s tuition, through installments. The annual cost is provided directly by Clínica Alemana.

Application dates:

The application process is open year-round and depends on available spaces at each level.

Meetings with parents:

In order to meet the applicant families and share various aspects of our Educational Project, a personal interview is held on dates specifically designated for each applicant family. There is also the option of participating in a guided tour to see the respective campuses and the school stadium.

Delivery of results:

In the application process for these courses, the results are delivered directly to the applicant family once the preliminary steps of the process are completed.

Registration confirmation:

Accepted applicants must confirm their interest in joining Saint Gabriel’s by paying the Enrollment and Registration Fee on the dates indicated for each applicant family.
