The mission of the Association of British Schools in Chile is to encourage and support member schools to offer a quality education that reflects the best educational experiences of the British system, applied to the Chilean reality.
This is achieved through a policy of reciprocity among its members and cooperation with Chilean and British educational authorities. It is an association of bilingual schools with similar educational objectives that fosters good educational practices and constructive interaction among students from the various member schools through academic, sporting, and cultural events. It also systematically and continuously promotes the professional development of its teachers.

UWC (National Foundation of the United World Colleges). Saint Gabriel’s is a founding member school of the National Foundation of the United World Colleges (UNWC).
he United World Colleges, known as UNWCs, constitute an international movement whose objective is to promote peace and understanding through education.
The movement comprises over seven colleges and more than fifty UWC National Committees, one of which is in Chile, an active alumni association, and an International Office in London that coordinates and executes the guidelines established by the International Board of Trustees of the UNWCs. The colleges are international communities in which young people of all races, creeds, and backgrounds have the opportunity to live and study together, drawing on their own experiences. They learn about each other’s cultures and societies and, in the process, deepen their understanding of a common humanity.
