Welcome to Saint Gabriel’s, a school with more than 90 years of history, where we strive daily to find a balance between tradition and innovation, placing students at the center of every process. Our school offers a bilingual program in Junior School and intensive English at the other levels. One way to encourage its use is through various interdisciplinary projects, combining different subjects and areas of the school.

Thanks to its English level and internal organization, Saint Gabriel’s is internationally recognized as a Cambridge University accredited center. Therefore, students have the opportunity to take the PET exam in 8th grade without having to go to other centers.

Similarly, since 1981, the school has been part of the International Baccalaureate (IB) and all our fourth-year students take the English exam.

Through these external assessments, our students certify their English language proficiency in skills such as reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The results are excellent and serve as a valuable resource for successful further education.

Cycles and courses

One of the school’s principles is to lovingly and respectfully support our students at every stage of their development and growth. Therefore, and in order to respect their developmental stages, the school is divided into two campuses: Lilas Campus, for the youngest students in pre-kinder through 3rd grade, and Bilbao Campus, for students in 4th grade through 12th grade. Each of these campuses is appropriately equipped according to the students’ ages, interests, and needs, and is staffed by motivated and highly trained professionals.

Additionally, the school has a nearly 4-hectare stadium located in Las Condes, on Lo Fontecilla Street (across from Clínica Las Condes). All students attend their Physical Education and Sports classes at this stadium. Various sports tournaments, recreational events, and school ceremonies, such as the 11th grade graduation, are also held here.

Learning experiences for today’s students

Saint Gabriel's School is a school of academic excellence, which promotes the holistic growth of students, including their socio-emotional development. Our focus is not limited to achieving good results on national and international standardized tests; rather, we center on fostering critical thinking, relationship and transfer skills, the ability to work in a team, and reflection on personal learning (metacognition), among other skills necessary for the world in which our students operate today.

True to the tradition of innovation that characterizes Saint Gabriel's, our school has been part of the International Baccalaureate (IB) since 1985. Currently, we offer all our Senior School students the opportunity to participate in the International Baccalaureate Diploma program. Students who do not enroll in the full program participate in the program by taking the Certificate level in English.

Our Community Service Program runs from PK through High School. Through this program, our students and their families have the opportunity to participate in various social initiatives that directly impact the well-being of many people. In addition to its practical importance, community service is also a fundamental spiritual component of our institution. Although it is not a religious program, it seeks to instill transcendental values such as empathy, generosity, respect, resilience, and honesty.

At school, we strive to develop a healthy environment where respect and kindness are essential for our students' learning. We work daily to create these conditions for all members of our community. We understand that healthy coexistence does not imply the absence of conflict, as these are inherent to human beings, but it does imply the ability to resolve them peacefully. In this way, our teams seek to develop in our students the necessary skills to coexist in society.

Sports are one of the school’s core pillars, and we firmly believe they are vitally important for the comprehensive development of all our students, whether they practice them competitively or recreationally. To support our sports program, the school has well-equipped facilities at both campuses and at the stadium located in Las Condes.
