Saint Gabriel's School - Misión, visión y valores

Mission

Saint Gabriel’s School’s mission is to educate based on academic excellence, along with a spirit of innovation, diversity, and the promotion of bilingualism. Its pillars are school coexistence based on respect, personal and collective responsibility, community service, and sports.
Our mission is summed up in community learning, well-being, and safety. In detail, this means:
Learning: A fundamental objective that motivates us to pursue academic excellence, developing, enhancing, and respecting personal abilities and individual differences.
Well-being: Through collaborative work with families, we provide a warm and harmonious environment for the emotional development of our students and learning spaces that promote comprehensive well-being.
Safety: Working together with families, we provide a physically and emotionally safe environment for all members of our community, providing the tools necessary to facilitate learning.

Vision

To contribute to Chilean school education, in its scientific and humanistic format, and, following the example of its Founder and Directors, to foster teamwork to achieve the intellectual, emotional, cultural, social, physical, ethical, and moral development of children and adolescents. We also strive to facilitate the development of skills and the acquisition of knowledge through the use of English. This is achieved in a stimulating atmosphere of mutual respect for people, institutions, different cultures, and the environment.
Our goal is to educate without discrimination based on social, cultural, ethnic, religious origin, or academic achievement. We provide equal learning opportunities, foster intellectual curiosity, and empower students with clear goals and objectives. At the same time, we foster global citizenship—happiness, respect, assertiveness, responsibility, resilience, and interest in contributing to the development of Chile and the world.

Values

The school promotes the following values and attitudes, which are related to our motto LIFE, which represents Virtue/Truth, Initiative, Giving or solidarity, and Love.
These include respect, acceptance of diversity, empathy and cordiality, self-regulation, self-discipline, autonomy, effort, perseverance, resilience, and responsibility.
As a school, we place special emphasis on the “Golden Rules” that are worked on at Circle Time, which have RESPECT as their central pillar.
